The Alabama Department of Insurance is dispatching its disaster response vehicle and consumer specialists to Prattville to aid citizens there with insurance questions following Sunday afternoon’s tornado, Commissioner Walter Bell said. No fatalities were immediately reported in Prattville, outside Montgomery, but two people were reportedly critically injured. The storm damaged or destroyed some 200 homes. Twenty-seven people had minor injuries, officials added. The ALDOI Disaster Response Vehicle will be located in the parking lot of Office Depot on Cobbs Ford Road, across from Wal-Mart. It will be open for business at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Bell also said the Department has contacted the major property insurers to encourage them to send their disaster teams to Prattville as well. At least one company was in place by Monday.

"The quality of this site looks very high, and the value for readers seems apparent the second you click on to the site. A well balanced layout, presenting easy to read updates for all to read. Accessible to all, even those who don't know all that much about insurance. That's I guess how I would summarize this site. All in all a very good job!"
