*A small but much felt aftershock jolted the Los Angeles region Tuesday, only two days after a magnitude-4.7 earthquake struck late in the weekend. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.The magnitude-4.1 temblor hit at 3:49 p.m. and was located 10 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles near the Los Angeles International Airport, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
No damage was reported with Tuesday's aftershock, though it was reportedly felt in the high desert city of Palmdale about 50 miles to the north and in San Diego, some 120 miles to the south.
