A Pittsburg, Kansas man has pled guilty to arson for his reported part in an insurance scam last year.According to prosecutors, in November 2008, Wendall Martin asked James Pryor and Sidney Ulmer to burn down his house in Pittsburg to collect insurance money on the home.
Martin has pled guilty to solicitation to commit a felony for his part and will be sentenced on Oct. 5.
Pryor pled guilty to burning the home at Martin’s request, and will be sentenced next month.
Ulmer will face a jury trial in December on charges of arson.
