The Dentists Insurance Company (TDIC) and TDIC Insurance Solutions have announced the hire of Jim Richardson as their new president and CEO.Since January of 2007, Richardson served as Chief Deputy Commissioner for the California Department of Insurance. In this role, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of a staff of 1,200 and a $200 million budget. He also provided policy advice to Commissioner Steve Poizner on a wide variety of regulatory, legislative and political issues.
