Woman Sues Victoria's Secret for Thong Incident

Talk about a bit of a stretch.

A Los Angeles woman has sued Victoria's Secret, saying she was injured by a defective thong from the company.

Macrida Patterson, 52, claims as she was attempting to try on the thong, a decorative metallic piece flew off the item and hit her in the eye.

Patterson's lawsuit claims the company is at fault for the eye injury she sustained. Patterson states she has permanent corneal damage and had to miss several days of work while being treated. She also claims the eye injury is something she will have to deal with the rest of her life.

The garment, reportedly a "low-rise v-string" from the company's Sexy Little Thing line, has not been recalled. Requested monetary damages from the suit were not announced.
