A 6.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of India's Andaman Islands on Friday. There were no reports of any injuries or serious damage.India's Meteorological Department, which said the incident happened at 1140 GMT on Friday, labeled the quake as moderate.
The remote islands were just one of many areas heavily impacted by a major tsunami in December, 2004.
