NATIONAL NEWS ZONE......

A new Web site from Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) reports it will help architectural and engineering firms more easily manage and protect their operations.

The site, www.ae-libertyiu.com, gives design professional firms the tools to better control their risk, lower claims against their firms, and track employee professional development activity while providing employees access to more than 1,000 approved continuing education courses.

The site’s eLearning section gives architects and engineers access to risk management courses developed exclusively by LIU as well as courses created by RedVector, a provider in online education for the design and construction industries.

The LIU courses are free of charge to policyholders and RedVector courses are available at a discounted rate – with most of the courses qualifying for continuing education credits. Any course accessed through www.ae-libertyiu.com will be tracked by the site – helping to cut down the time spent on employee training record keeping.

Policyholders who successfully complete the necessary professional development courses through the site may qualify for a loss prevention credit at renewal.

A demo of the site is available at www.liu-aewebdemo.com.
