A tornado ripped through downtown Atlanta Friday evening injuring at least nine people according to reports. The storm moved through the area shortly before 10 p.m. EDT and had people running into the streets from a hotel, the CNN headquarters and from the Georgia Dome (pictured), where fans were watching an SEC Tournament basketball game between the University of Alabama and Mississippi State. It appeared some of the roofing panels on the Dome were damaged during the storm. The majority of the damage outside saw windows blown out, street lights and signs down, trees falling on property and at least one roof of an apartment building collapsing.
