To meet businesses’ growing demands for general aviation travel, Travelers Aviation unit is introducing a new workers' compensation insurance program for corporate flight departments. Travelers’ new aviation workers' compensation program will provide workers' comp coverage for general aviation flight departments, including pilots, ground crew and administrative staff, to help insureds keep rising loss cost trends under control. The program will supplement aircraft hull and liability policy forms for flight departments ranging from a single pilot to large departments. The Travelers TravComp workers' comp claim management process uses technology to integrate the claim, medical and billing platform which helps to ensure that payments are issued only for appropriate bills. TravComp also offers the industry’s first injured worker Web site (www.mywcinfo.com), a site for injured employees to obtain information and medical tips and to review their claim payment information online. Customers can reportedly further benefit from Travelers’ 24-hour workers' comp claim reporting tools. Travelers’ workers comp program is available in all states where permitted.
