A Connecticut judge has tossed out a lawsuit from a woman who claimed that L'Oreal Inc. destroyed her social life after she accidentally dyed her hair brunette with one of the company's products.
The Superior Court judge dismissed the woman's 2005 lawsuit, stating she never proved her allegation that L'Oreal placed brown hair dye in a box marked as blonde. L'Oreal also had disputed the claim.
Charlotte Feeney claimed that she cannot return to her natural blonde hue look following her use of the product. According to Feeney, she was traumatized by the experience that she needed anti-depressants to cope with the issue.
Feeney went on to claim that following the dye job, she suffered from headaches and anxiety, along with missing the notoriety that many blondes receive.
