Liberty Northwest Insurance Corp. will sell all its workers' compensation coverages exclusively through its independent agents moving forward.Propel Insurance, based in Tacoma, has purchased the policy renewal rights for Liberty Northwest's direct-sold workers' comp policies written in Oregon.
Earlier this week, Liberty entered into agreements to sell previously direct-sold workers' comp accounts, including the renewal rights to those accounts, with four agencies that have contracted with the insurer to sell commercial lines of insurance.
Portland-based Liberty, which is Oregon's second-largest compensation insurer, has also agreed to exclusive contracts with other third-party vendors in Montana and Idaho.
