A morning fire in Stockton, California continued to burn as of noon on Tuesday. Reports say several homes have been destroyed.The fire destroyed residences just east of Interstate 5. The blaze burned homes in the Quail Lakes area just north of March Lane, as hot, dry weather in the region has increased the fire danger to very high.
There are no reports of injuries or a property damage total at this time.
Stockton is approximately 50 miles south of Sacramento.
