A Miami jury has ruled in favor of a hospital on all counts in a lawsuit filed by a woman who lost her arms and legs following a visit to the hospital for treatment of kidney stones.
Lisa Strong, 44, a mother of two, sued her doctors and the South Broward Hospital District after going into Memorial Hospital West five years ago with a kidney stone and, because of complications, eventually losing all four limbs.
Strong and her attorneys are considering an appeal, noting her biggest concern is how she will deal with her condition in the future.
