Six Flags Over Georgia Sued by Beating Victim

A lawsuit has been filed against Six Flags Over Georgia by a Marietta man who was beaten outside the venue in July of 2007.

According to the suit, Joshua Martin, who was 19 years of age at the time, was beaten as he departed the park on July 3, 2007, by a group of teens who worked at Six Flags during the summer. The lawsuit names beating suspects Willie Gray Franklin Jr., Brad McGail Johnson, DeAndre Evans and Claude Morey III, who are awaiting a criminal trial.

Martin's lawyer claims the fight started on the grounds of the park, while Six Flags says it did not, contending the incident happened at a MARTA bus stop, not on the park's property.
