America First Insurance Unveils Oklahoma Office

America First Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, opened the doors this week to its new Oklahoma regional office in Oklahoma City.

With approximately $70 million in combined personal and commercial lines premium in Oklahoma, the company’s new office at 14000 Quail Springs Parkway will serve primarily as an underwriting operation with a staff of 12 employees, and the expectation of adding additional personnel in the coming months.

Regional Vice President Michael Hughes leads the staff in their goal of meeting the emerging needs of the Oklahoma marketplace while growing premium and the agency force in the state.

“The expansion of our territory last year really presented an opportunity to strengthen our presence here in Oklahoma,” said Hughes. “Having this new regional office will really help deepen agency relationships and allow us to more closely prospect new business with our agents.”

America First Insurance is the first carrier to open an office in Oklahoma in more than a decade. In recognition of America First’s commitment to the state of Oklahoma and the independent agency system, Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland and Big I – Oklahoma President Dan Ramsey will attend an Open House for America First’s appointed agents on Aug. 7 at the new regional office.

America First Insurance offers property and casualty products, including a comprehensive set of personal and commercial coverage, distributed only through appointed independent agents. Headquartered in Richardson, Texas, America First Insurance offers insurance products in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
