Bodyshop owner Greg Coccaro tells the story of how he successfully defended himself against fraud charges leveled against him by giant Progressive Insurance in a new podcast from Scene Genesis. The story has important implications for insurers, bodyshops and consumers who trust their insurer to choose a bodyshop that will do safe, high-quality repairs—something that doesn’t always happen, Coccaro says.
The victory cost Coccaro $400,000 in legal fees over three years. His suit against Progressive is pending.
