Ohio Department of Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson announced the Department has added a podcast to the Department’s Web site, www.ohioinsurance.gov. Recorded and updated each month, the podcast will offer tips and information on insurance issues facing Ohioans. “The Department is committed to using technology as a way to distribute important information to Ohioans,” said Hudson. “We’re hoping that this podcast will reach out to those people who use the Internet to get their information.”
The inaugural podcast will feature an interview with Hudson concerning the importance of flood insurance, including information on flood insurance eligibility, how to purchase it and where it can be obtained. The podcast can be found on the Communications section of the Department’s Web site as well as the Featured Links section.
