A hurricane watch has been issued for portions of Texas and the Mexico coast as Tropical Storm Dolly passes over Mexico's Yucatan peninsula, with a reported path destined for the Gulf of Mexico.
As of this morning, the National Hurricane Center reports Dolly, the fourth tropical storm of the season, has top sustained winds around 50 mph. A tropical storm warning was issued for the Yucatan peninsula.
Elsewhere, Hurricane Fausto grew to a category 2 storm in the Pacific with maximum sustained winds of approximately 100 mph. Fausto is currently situated west-southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
