The death toll in Chile stands at four from heavy rains and flooding in the central and southern parts of the country.
Two people died from landslides, while the other two deaths were reportedly due to being struck by objects.
Reports say nearly 5,000 residents have been forced from their homes after a river went over its banks. The port town of Valparaiso reportedly received nearly four inches of rain in a 24-hour span.
The government reports that more than 300 people were currently staying in shelters to get away from the flooding.
