A hotel blast in San Diego on Monday injured 14 workers, five critically.
The blast happened around 2 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel, under construction near the San Diego Convention Center. Officials say the blast was due to a natural gas leak and several hundred construction workers were at the site at the time of the blast.
The hotel suffered serious damage, but it did not burn. Authorities initially put damages to the building at $5 million.
