Several homes in California's Santa Cruz Mountains were threatened Thursday morning as a wildfire, fueled by gusty winds, made its way towards the residences.
The blaze was first called in around 5:30 a.m. and was approximately 1,700 acres in size.
According to reports, at least 20 homes were threatened by the fire, which was blazing in the mountain range between Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties.
No injuries or damages to homes have been reported to date.
