Command Center Unveils New Work Comp Program

Command Center Inc., a provider of on-demand, reliable labor solutions, has changed insurance providers for its workers compensation coverage nationwide and, as a result, has significantly reduced its projected annual costs and cash flow requirements for workers comp insurance. The changeover in programs will account for estimated positive cash flow of more than $3.4 million over the next year.

The company said the new program was facilitated and structured by its insurance broker, Chicago-based Assurance Agency.

Controlling costs associated with workers compensation insurance is a major challenge for all labor and staffing companies, said Glenn Welstad, Commands chairman and CEO. Im thrilled our management team has tackled it aggressively and found a solution that significantly lowers our costs without reducing the quality or scope of insurance coverage. This is a major positive development for our young company. Obviously, it will contribute significantly to our goal of profitability in the second half of 2008 and beyond.
