Reward Offered for Info in Ohio Apartment Fire

The city of Toledo, Ohio is offering a $5,000 reward in return for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who allegedly set off fireworks last weekend near an apartment complex in South Toledo.

The end result was a three-alarm fire which destroyed nine buildings and left nearly 200 residents homeless.

Last Saturday's fire was a result of some of the fireworks landing on the roof of one of the apartment buildings that went up in smoke.

Authorities say the fire resulted in more than $5 million in property damages. Authorities also report that most of the residents left homeless did not possess renter's insurance.
