The number one U.S. diplomat in the country of Myanmar is now saying that possibly up to 100,000 people are dead following last weekend's deadly cyclone. The country, which is also known as Burma, has been slow to release information and getting help into the country has also taken some time following Cyclone Nargis. Initial reports said a few thousand died, then those estimates went up to around 22,000 earlier this week.
Shortages of food and clean water are also leading to confrontations and the fear of disease spreading.
While the death toll continues to go up, there are reports that some 40,000 people could be missing.
