UPDATE: Myanmar Cyclone Death Toll Climbs to 4,000

The death toll following last weekend's deadly cyclone in Myanmar has steadily risen to 4,000 and could go further, according to government reports.

The cyclone had a deadly impact on the city of Yangon, where the majority of deaths were and thousands are reported missing.

Cyclone Nargis slammed into the Southeast Asian country, also known as Burma, early Saturday with winds of up to 120 mph. The cyclone took roofs off hospitals and schools and cut power to much of the country.
