Several lawsuits pertaining to the 2007 I-35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis have been filed. The accident in August of 2007 killed 13 and injured more than 100.
Lawsuits were filed Thursday for three victims who were injured and the family of one individual who died in the collapse.
Those being sued are the consulting firm that evaluated the Interstate 35W bridge and the contracting company who was repaving the structure when it collapsed. Companies named in the lawsuits are URS Corp. and Progressive Contractors Inc.
