IAC, TelaDoc to Distribute Tools, Programs

Insurers Administrative Corp. IAC (www.iacusa.com), and TelaDoc Medical Services (www.teladoc.com) jointly announced that IAC will distribute TelaDoc’s telehealth tools and physician or patient-selected cross-coverage programs.

IAC, headquartered in Phoenix, is a member of the IHC Group (www.ihcgroup.com), an organization of insurance carriers, managing general underwriters, third-party administrators and marketing affiliates that have been providing life, health, disability, dental, vision and medical stop-loss insurance solutions to groups and individuals for over 25 years.

TelaDoc represents telephonic access to physicians, which translates into convenience, efficiency and savings for consumers,” said IAC Senior Vice President, Network and Medical Management, Frank Fugiel. “IAC general agents, brokers and producers anticipate TelaDoc will be a key differentiator in the sales of individual, family and small group major medical plans.”

In 2008, IAC marked 30 years in business. As an established third-party administrator, IAC offers services including underwriting, billing and claims processing for national and international fully insured, self-funded, and partially self-funded benefit plans, as well as for individual and family health insurance plans.

In addition, IAC specializes in product development, sales and marketing. With approximately 70 provider networks throughout the country to support its benefit plans, IAC continuously monitors the overall cost-effectiveness of each provider network through fee analyses, contract negotiations and savings reports.
