People Going Places: Breitstone, Turner, Ehrle, Castle

* Aon Corporation (www.aon.com) announced that Peter Breitstone has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Agency Specialty Product Network Insurance Services Inc., (ASPN), effective April 22, 2008. Jerry Tegan, who has served as president and chief executive officer for eight years, will now serve as ASPN chairman. Breitstone offers more than 25 years epxerience as an independent agent. He joined Aon in 2006.

* Maxum Specialty Insurance Group (www.mxmsig.com), a provider of specialty excess and surplus insurance lines, announced the appointment of F. Marshall Turner, II, CPCU, as the president and CEO of Maxum Indemnity Company and Maxum Casualty Insurance Company. His appointment is effective May 5, 2008. Turner will serve as a director of both insurance companies as well as their parent, Northern Homelands Company. He will assume overall responsibility for the management of the Maxum Specialty Insurance Group, and report to the board of directors.

Prudential Financial Inc.s (www.prudential.com) Group Insurance business announced that John Ehrle has been promoted to vice president of Regional Sales, responsible for managing small and mid-market Life and Disability sales throughout the United States. Ehrle brings to the post more than 24 years of life and disability sales and sales management experience.

Alliant Insurance Services (www.alliantinsurance.com) reported the promotion of Jim Castle to group president of Driver Commercial Group, its West Coast commercial brokerage unit. Castle joined Alliant Insurance in 2000 and will stay in his role as leader of the companys national construction practice.

* White Mountains Re Ltd., the Bermuda-based reinsurance unit of White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. reported three new promotions on the Folksamerica Reinsurance Company underwriting teams.
Melissa Emmendorfer has been named chief underwriting officer of the Professional Liability, Clash and Workers' Comp business; Joann De Blasis has been named chief underwriting officer of the Accident and Health business; and Anthony Sasso has been named chief underwriting officer of the Property business.
