Berkshire Life Chooses Insurance Technologies ForeSight

Insurance Technologies LLC, a provider of illustration and point-of-sale software for the financial services and brokerage industries, announced that Berkshire Life Insurance Company of America (Berkshire) has selected Insurance Technologies ForeSight™ to enhance its disability income insurance illustration system.

As part of an upcoming launch of the next generation flagship Individual Disability Income insurance line, Berkshire will provide its sales force with a web and desktop-enabled illustration system that will deliver enhanced marketing opportunities and vastly upgraded efficiencies for field releases. In addition, it will allow essential integration with the Berkshire mainframe and web-based applications.

“The ForeSight™ platform will give Berkshire Life producers dual distribution through both a web and desktop system,” says Paul Skordilis, EVP, Worldwide Sales & Marketing at Insurance Technologies. “This will expand the company’s market reach and allow them to retain their leadership position in the individual disability income arena.”

Last year, Berkshire was the industry’s sales leader of non-cancellable disability insurance sold on a one-to-one basis, according to the Life Insurance Market Research Association (LIMRA).

Eventually, ForeSight™ will enable Berkshire to provide each channel, broker dealer, agent or agency with a branded interface, product list, product variations and marketing content - all using one set of code. Delivering a unique user experience to each distribution partner, it is designed to expand Berkshire’s relationships while offering its distribution partners maximum control and efficiency.
